ELSA – The European Laws Students’ Acquaintance

ELSA : the Western Law Students’ Association is usually an international organisation of law students and recent graduates which offers its participants a wide range of legal, academic and personal development prospects and activities. ELSA fosters the development of its members’ understanding and appreciation of European tradition and legal system through mental exchange and discussion. ELSA has its own high-quality go rules journal (the Cambridge Law Review), hosts moot court tournaments and organises conferences and other workshops due to the members to know from the experience of their colleagues, both at your home and abroad.

In this training, you will get a wide and deep familiarity with the European Union legal framework in small group teaching with skilled lecturers and practitioners right from renowned organization law firms and prestigious corporations. At the same time, you are likely to develop modern legal skills such as legal composing and arbitration. Upon graduation, you will be ready for the professional legal life in European and international organisations, governments, privately owned practice, general population administration and other fields which in turn require advanced knowledge of the two national and EU law.

Throughout their studies, you can undertake a directed research study in a selected field of EU legislation. These projects are an excellent opportunity to explore your involvement in a particular area of the law and to apply whatever you have learned throughout the European Union Rules courses. Spectacular directed exploration papers are eligible for the Jean Monnet EU Regulation Student Research Fellowship Program.
